It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 30th International Centenarian Consortium (ICC), held in conjunction with the 20th International Symposium on Aging (ISA), which will take place in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea, from June 9 to 12, 2026.
Since the inaugural meeting held in Athens, Georgia, USA, in 1994, the ICC has grown into a truly global network of scholars dedicated to understanding exceptional longevity. It is a particular honor to host this milestone 30th meeting in Korea.
This meeting will mark not only our annual scientific gathering but also the 30th meeting of the ICC. The theme of the meeting is ‘Centenarians as Pioneers of the Well-Aging Era,’ reflecting our belief that centenarians stand at the forefront of the longevity revolution and offer invaluable insights into healthy aging in the age of longevity.
We sincerely hope that approximately 20 centenarian study groups from around the world will be able to join us, making this a memorable occasion for reunion and academic exchange. We also warmly invite Korean researchers with a strong interest in longevity and centenarian studies to participate actively.
As the meeting is being held in Korea, we especially look forward to strong participation from our colleagues in Asia, including Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, and other neighboring countries. Your presence will greatly enrich the scientific and cultural diversity of this congress.
Finally, I hope that the 30th ICC in Gochang will serve as a meaningful platform to explore solutions for healthy longevity in the era of aging societies, while fostering collaboration, friendship, and future partnerships among our members.
